NEWTON LAKE PARK is a 103 acre park that runs through Collingswood, Oaklyn and Haddon Township. The park is filled with amenities for individuals of all ages, such as paved trails for biking, hiking or running, three picnic areas, and playgrounds. The southeastern corner contains a ten-acre area of old growth forest. The park is a great place to spot waterfowl and other birds. Fishing is also popular along the piers or on the water. Kayaking or canoeing can be a great way to explore the lake from an alternative perspective.
